Blooming Canola Field


Yes, the countryside at this time of the year is amazingly beautiful, therefore this blooming canola field was the perfect location for my outfit post and it was beyond what I could have imagined, both in sight and smell, so if you have canola fields in your country, take some photos! :)

Rhubarb-Strawberry Cheescake Foto Recipe / Rabarberu-zemeņu siera kūkas foto recepte


 It's rhubarb season here and do you find yourself wondering what tasty things you can do with it? Well, this is how I treat myself, with delicious and very easy to make rhubarb-strawberry cheescake. For full foto recipe click more!

Rabarberu laiks ir klāt, un vai esi pieķērusi sevi pie domas, ko lai gardu pagatavo no tiem? Lūk šādi es lutinu sevi, ar gardo un viegli pagatavojamo rabarberu-zemeņu siera kūku. Lai redzētu pilnu foto recepti, spied šeit!


          Ingredients:                                                            Sastāvdaļas:

          For shortcrust pastry base                             Smilšu mīklas pamatne
          500g shortcrust pastry                                            500g smilšu mīkla

          For the filling                                                        2 vidēji rabarberi                     
          2 medium sized rhubarbs                                        400g zemenes                                      
          400g strawberries                                                    200g svaigā siera                         
          200g cream cheese                                                  100g cukurs
          100g sugar                                                               3 olas
          3 eggs                                                     

  Spread the batter in the pan and preheat oven to 200°C.
Mīklu ieklāj pannā un uzstāda cepeškrāsni uz 200°C.
Chop the rhubarb and strawberries in to pieces of a desired size. 
Rabarberus un zemenes sagriež vēlamā lieluma gabaliņos.
Cover the shortcrust pastry base with chopped rhubarbs and strawberries, and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
Uz mīklas pamatnes ber sagrieztos rabarberus un zemenes, un pārkaisa nedaudz ar cukuru. 
Beat the remaining sugar with eggs and cream cheese and pour on top of everything and bake for about 40  minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool! 
Atlikušo cukuru sakuļ ar olām un svaigo sieru un lej visam virsū, un cep aptuveni 40 minūtes. Tad ņem ārā no krāsns un ļauj tai atdzist!

Casual Outfit

Finally it feels like summer and in addition to the nice weather I'm incredibly lucky, because tomorrow is my last day of university, I'm graduating in just a few weeks :)
Outfit I chose for today was very casual - comfortable BWNY jean shorts, light Juicy Couture shirt, open toe sandals and my Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM Damier Ebene bag.
